My next talk will take place in Mystic CT on Thursday evening, 15 October, on behalf of the Groton Open Space Association. As is customary, in addition to presenting a slide show of my rounds of the wetland and turtle seasons, I will stress the critical need for going beyond conservation to preservation…as highlighted in my new book FOLLOWING THE WATER, A HYDROMANCER’S NOTEBOOK.
